NEF March Meeting Discusses 'Raising Money ... Legally'

                         Sponsored by Business Review

ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The New Enterprise Forum (NEF)
will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, March 17, 2005 on the topic
"Raising Money ... Legally" followed by the Showcase Presentation and Open
Forum at the Holiday Inn North Campus on Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor.
"Raising Money ... Legally" will be discussed by Tom Vaughn of Dykema
Gossett. Vaughn will present his informative "road show" that explains, in
entertaining fashion, the minutiae of business and investment legalities you
need to know before you try to raise capital. His practice focuses primarily
on general corporate and securities matters, with an emphasis on mergers and
acquisitions, public securities offerings, public company securities
compliance, and private placements of securities involving institutional,
venture capital, and private investors.
The Showcase Presenter will be PMC, a company that has developed a system
to remove fats, oils, and grease from wastewater. New regulations have made
this a very expensive problem for fast food restaurants. A unit has been
installed and running for more than a year at a McDonald's in Flint. It has
been 99 percent effective and McDonald's is installing another one in a second
location.
Registration and networking begin at 5 p.m. with the program starting at
5:45 p.m. Free to NEF members, the cost is $20 for nonmembers. For more
information, please visit http://www.nef.bizserve.com .
