ACS Announces $57 Million Contract With Missouri HealthNet

DALLAS, March 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affiliated Computer Services,
Inc. (NYSE: ACS) today announced a contract renewal with the Missouri (MO)
HealthNet Division to provide electronic health records and pharmacy
benefits management solutions. The contract has a length of up to 10 years
and a total value of $57 million if all option years are exercised.

Under this contract, ACS will provide the state with several components
of ACS' electronic health records (EHR) solution, including SmartPA(SM) for
conducting automated prior authorizations and Prospective Drug Utilization
Review. Since 2002, SmartPA has helped contribute more than $85 million in
program savings annually in Missouri.

ACS has also provided MO HealthNet with Retrospective Drug Utilization
review and academic detailing programs that have enabled the state to save
more than $10 million. In 2002, ACS introduced the Get Well program, a
disease management program, which helped the state save more than $7
million.

"We have worked closely with the State of Missouri to help them achieve
their vision of providing MO HealthNet participants with the best care
possible through innovative clinical and technology solutions," said
Christopher T. Deelsnyder, ACS senior vice president and managing director,
Government Healthcare Solutions. "ACS is noted for listening to our
customers, learning about their business requirements, and implementing
solutions for participants, providers, and taxpayers in each of the states
we serve."

This contract renewal was reflected in the second quarter fiscal year
2008 results and extends a relationship that began in 2001.

ACS will also deploy EHR web tools -- DirectInform(SM), CyberAccess(SM)
and DirectCarePro(SM) -- that enable patients, physicians, and pharmacists
to access information that will help MO HealthNet Division improve health
outcomes, facilitate coordination of care between providers, reduce
dangerous drug interactions, minimize duplicate therapies, and reduce
unnecessary costs. ACS will also provide Retrospective Drug Utilization
Review and federal reporting services using CyberFormance(SM), a fourth
component of ACS' EHR suite of web tools.
