MINNEAPOLIS, March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Fitness Corporation
(Nasdaq: HFIT) today announced that James A. Bernards, a former director, has
been appointed as a member of the Company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Bernards is the President of Brightstone Capital, Ltd., a
Minneapolis-based venture capital firm. He has also been President of
Facilitation Incorporated, a strategic planning firm he founded in July 1993.
Prior to that time, he was President of Stirtz-Bernards and Co., a
Minneapolis-based accounting firm he founded and with which he had been a
partner for more than twelve years. He is also a director of FSI
International and Fieldworks, Inc. (public companies) and several private
companies.
