Communicator of the year to be honored at the
24th Annual IABC/Detroit Renaissance Awards
DETROIT, March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Nominations are now being accepted for
the IABC/Detroit Communicator of the Year, an honor given to an outstanding
member of the communications profession in recognition for a consistent high
level of achievement and leadership. Winners are judged by a committee of
peers, which is indeed the highest honor.
The Communicator of the Year award recognizes an individual for superior
contributions to business communication through the practice and encouragement
of professionalism and integrity in communication, and a display of
communication practice excellence in a company and/or community organization.
Nominations for Communicator of the Year are due by March 29, 2005. For

The Communicator of the Year award is given as part of IABC/Detroit's
annual Renaissance Awards program. The annual awards competition showcases
the creative and effective ways in which communicators play a key role in
every area of business and community. Open to communicators in southeast
Michigan, northwest Ohio and southwest Ontario, the Renaissance Awards honors
those individuals and organizations that have conducted creative campaigns
that excel in execution as well as transform attitudes and actions.
Additionally, for the IABC/Detroit Renaissance Awards, early bird entries
are due by Tuesday, March 15, 2005 and the final deadline is Tuesday, March
22, 2005. Awards will be presented during a special banquet at the VisTaTech
Center in Livonia on Tuesday, June 14, 2005. Sponsors of this year's
