Sheetz, Inc. Contributes $57,000 for Tsunami Relief

Company Matched Customer Donations Dollar for Dollar During February
                              Fundraising Effort

ALTOONA, Pa., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Sheetz, Inc. and its customers
pledge their support to the South Asian tsunami relief efforts with a $57,000
donation to AmeriCares, a non-profit disaster relief organization.
"We share in the grief of billions of Americans and people around the
world at the devastation caused by the tsunami in South Asia," said President
and CEO, Stan Sheetz. "This tragedy has touched the hearts of so many and we
hope this donation will help to support the hundreds of thousands of people
who were injured."
During the month of February, Sheetz customers donated to tsunami relief
efforts by dropping their change in donation boxes placed at the registers of
all 306 Sheetz locations in the company's six state territory. Through the
generosity of Sheetz customers, collections totaled nearly $28,500.
Sheetz today announced that the company will match customer donations,
contributing another $28,500 to tsunami relief efforts on behalf of the 9,800
Sheetz employees.
"We are truly appreciative of the generosity of Sheetz at this critical
time," said Elizabeth Walsh, spokesperson for AmeriCares. "In the aftermath
of the tsunami, millions of people are now at risk for disease. This donation
will allow us to provide medicines and other aid to those who need it the most
as quickly as possible."
A check for $57,000, combining both customer donations and Sheetz matching
contribution, will be sent to AmeriCares for continued tsunami relief efforts.
