WILMINGTON, Del., March 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DuPont Titanium
Technologies today announced a price increase in Asia Pacific for all DuPont
titanium dioxide (TiO2) grades.
Effective April 1, 2006, DuPont is increasing the price of all TiO2 grades
by US$100 per tonne in Asia Pacific. This increase is necessary in light of
the dramatic rise in energy-related costs, affecting the reinvestment
economics required to balance DuPont's global supply of TiO2.
Other regional increases will be announced directly within the local
regions.
