InterFirst Wholesale Mortgage Lending Honors Top Sales Employees at Annual Sales Awards Celebration

    ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- InterFirst Wholesale Mortgage
Lending, a division of ABN AMRO Mortgage Group, Inc., and one of the nation's
top wholesale lenders, recently honored its top sales employees at its annual
sales meeting.
    "InterFirst remains a dominant force in the mortgage industry because of
its best-in-class sales team and their attention to customer service," said
Collyer Smith, InterFirst national sales manager.  "2004 was a challenging
year in the industry, yet InterFirst's account executives were able to expand
sales regions, develop new broker relationships and help the company achieve
more than $39 billion in production.  The annual sales meeting awards
recognize those individuals that achieved extraordinary results through their
leadership and attention to customer satisfaction."
    Award recipients at InterFirst's 2005 sales meeting include:

    Paul Wyner, an InterFirst central sales region manager, was named "Top
Regional Manager."  Wyner's account executives achieved more than $3.9 billion
in production in 2004.  InterFirst's central region includes Colorado,
Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska,
North Dakota, southern Ohio, South Dakota, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin and
Wyoming.
    Danielle Simmance, an InterFirst central sales region manager, was awarded
"Manager of the Most Improved Region."  Simmance's account executives achieved
more than $3 billion in production in 2004.
    Shane DeSimone, an account executive from New York, representing
InterFirst's northeast sales region, was named "Highest Producing Account
Executive."  DeSimone's sales totaled more than $691 million in 2004.
    With sales totaling more than $430 million, Lisa Lanik was named
InterFirst's "Sales Representative of the Year."  Lanik is an account
executive from Atlanta, Georgia, in InterFirst's southeast sales region that
includes Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland,
District of Columbia, part of West Virginia, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama,
Louisiana and Tennessee.
    InterFirst president, William Newman, presented the company's "President's
Cup" to southeast sales regional manager Buddy Dantin and his sales team.
InterFirst's "President's Cup" recognizes outstanding performance, leadership
and attitude.  Dantin's team includes account executives Lisa Lanik, Wanda
Larsen, Sherry Orton, Michael McClung, Tim Bell, Garron Ginn, Scott Burchett,
Kristen Schaumburg, Genarda Wright, Norma Lovitt and Nancy Rogers.
