Adds Online Workflow Platform to CMP Technology's Portfolio
LONDON, March 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- United Business Media Plc
today announces that it has invested $2 million in eXalt Solutions, Inc.
(http://www.exaltsolutions.com). In exchange for this investment, UBM will acquire
newly issued shares of eXalt representing a 25% equity stake in the company
and an option to purchase an additional 15%.
eXalt Solutions, Inc is a leading provider of on-demand, web-based
services for IT solution sales. eXalt will implement its Solutions Sales
Platform(TM) on CMP Technology's ChannelWeb portal website (
http://www.channelweb.com). The Solutions Sales Platform is a workflow product
that cuts the costs of and accelerates the sales cycle of IT solution
providers by streamlining the information flow between suppliers,
distributors and IT solution providers. This new capability will enable CMP
Technology's Channel Group to evolve its ChannelWeb portal from being a
simple provider of information to a platform for online workflow services
for the Channel Group's IT solution vendor customers.
