First Ever Non-stop Service Between North Carolina and Oregon
TEMPE, Ariz., March 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- US Airways (NYSE: LCC)
is making things even rosier for Portland residents with new non-stop
seasonal summer service between Portland (Oregon) International Airport and
Charlotte/Douglas International Airport on May 28.

US Airways customers in Portland will enjoy daily service to US
Airways' largest hub, where they can connect to other US Airways
destinations throughout the Eastern U.S., Central America, the Caribbean
and even Europe. Meanwhile, loyal, long-time US Airways customers in
Charlotte will have non-stop access to an additional West Coast
destination.

national network we have as a result of the America West - US Airways

access to the destinations they've told us are important to them."
US Airways will operate the route using Airbus A320 aircraft, seating
12 in the first class cabin and 138 in coach. The flight schedule is as

US Airways will also enhance service between its Philadelphia hub and
Portland this summer with the addition of a second daily roundtrip flight
beginning on July 19. The route will also be operated using Airbus A320
aircraft. The flights will be available for booking beginning March 17. The
