Oak Technology, Inc. to Present Innovative Imaging System-on-a-Chip Solution At Embedded Systems Conference San Francisco 2002

    WHAT:  Oak Technology, Inc., (Nasdaq: OAKT) a leading provider of embedded
solutions for optical storage and digital imaging markets, today announced it
will make a presentation at Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) San Francisco
2002 held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.  The
presentation will be made on Friday, March 15 at 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time
in the ARM Booth #702 located in the Moscone Center's South Hall.
Neil Epstein, product marketing manager, will present "Programmable SOC
Solutions for Imaging Appliances."
    The presentation will highlight Oak's recently announced OTI-4110,
utilizing the ARM946E-S 32-bit CPU core.  The OTI-4110 is the first in a
series of high integration embedded imaging system-on-a-chip (SOC) solutions,
based on Oak's Quatro(TM) architecture, designed specifically for the personal
imaging and printing markets.
