TROY, MI USA
TROY, Mich., March 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Delphi Corp. will display innovative
commercial vehicle products and a suite of safety technologies at next week's
2006 Mid-America Trucking Show at the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center in
Louisville, Ky.
     (Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20020315/DEF002LOGO )
"Mid-America is a great opportunity to talk with truck drivers about their
future vehicle needs," said Steve Hartwig, Delphi director of North America
Commercial Vehicles. "This year Delphi is displaying technologies that help
keep the driver safe along with products that make the long-haul easier."
The products to be shown at Delphi's Mid-America exhibit (booth #2123)
include:

    Windshield Cleaning System
Improving driver visibility and safety, Delphi's windshield cleaning
system helps remove snow and ice from the vehicle's windshield and blades by
heating washer fluid to 140 degrees F. Mounted under the hood, the system
heats the fluid in less than 10 seconds.

    Forewarn(R) Safety Technologies
Delphi technologies help keep CV drivers aware of the road by effectively
wrapping the commercial vehicle in a virtual 'cocoon of safety.' Delphi will
demonstrate several current and future Forewarn(R) brand active safety
products including Pre-crash Sensing, Forward Collision Warning, Smart Cruise
Control with Headway Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Active Night Vision, Radar
Side Alert, Turn Assist, Back-up Aid, Drowsy Driver Alert and Driver
Distraction Alert. Delphi will also demonstrate the Delphi Resettable Seat
Belt Retractor.

    Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC)
Delphi's Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) auxiliary power unit is a high-
efficiency, environmentally friendly device that will convert the chemical
energy in conventional vehicle fuels -- such as diesel fuel and gasoline --
directly into useful electrical power by an electrochemical process. The SOFC
technology serves as an auxiliary power unit (APU) that not only eliminates
the need for commercial vehicle drivers to operate their primary engines
during idling periods, but also enables them to operate electrical devices
without plugging into "Shore Power" rest stop sites.

    Premium CD/MP3 radio
This 'all-in-one system,' which includes iPod connectivity and an
integrated satellite radio receiver, offers digital-quality audio in a compact
package at a competitive price. Designed specifically with the commercial
vehicle driver in mind, this 'industry first' product is capable of managing
all of a driver's audio needs.

    MyFi
Delphi's MyFi -- the first personal, portable satellite radio application
-- makes a great companion for the road because it offers the unique feature
of being able to store up to five hours of prerecorded satellite radio
programming. In addition to portability, the MyFi comes equipped with two
kits that give drivers the flexibility to enjoy XM satellite radio both at
home and in their vehicle.

    RoadyXT
Weighing just 2.3 ounces, the RoadyXT is the smallest, thinnest satellite
radio available. It comes with a robust built-in wireless FM adaptor, which
will wirelessly transmit to any one of 100 FM radio frequencies. The RoadyXT
is vehicle ready, thus allowing for clean installation into any commercial
vehicle environment.

    SKYFi2
SKYFi2 is completely portable and incorporates the most advanced user
features of any satellite radio on the market. Features include: superior
user interface with 20 channel presets, 30-minute pause and replay features,
direct channel entry, scrolling sports scores, and the ability to preview and
search XM channels by artists and song titles. This reasonably priced
satellite radio product is capable of interfacing with the commercial
vehicle's current audio system and comes equipped with a built-in wireless FM
adaptor.
