MINNEAPOLIS, March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- GMAC-Residential Funding Corporation
(GMAC-RFC) today announced the closing of a $426 million, high-loan-to-value
(HLTV) securitization, its first HLTV issuance of the year. The transaction
reinforces GMAC-RFC's strong commitment to the HLTV marketplace.
In 1999, GMAC-RFC issued more than $1.5 billion in HLTV product, making it
the largest HLTV issuer nationwide. According to industry sources, GMAC-RFC
holds a market share of approximately 20 percent.

The $426 million securitization is made up of 12,132 second lien HLTV
loans with an average loan balance of $35,000.
