(NYSE: APC) today announced that its indirect, wholly owned subsidiary,
Anadarko Canada Acquisition Corporation, has received all regulatory approvals
required to proceed with the acquisition of the shares of Berkley Petroleum
Corp. (Toronto: BKP), including approvals under the Investment Canada Act and
the Competition Act.
The tender offer outstanding to Berkley shareholders expires today,
March 14, at 5 p.m. MST.
