NEW ORLEANS, March 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- San Diego-based Wireless
Facilities, Inc. (WFI) (Nasdaq: WFII), a global leader in the design,
deployment and management of wireless communication networks, technology
networks and security systems, announced today at the CTIA Wireless 2005 Show
in New Orleans that the Company has successfully completed Ev-DO network
upgrades for a major national wireless carrier in 14 major metropolitan areas
across the United States.

Ev-DO stands for Evolution Data Only and delivers voice and data up to ten

third-generation platform. Until recently, such 3G solutions have only been
available in other countries.
