GAME DEVELOPERS CONFERENCE, SAN JOSE, Calif., March 21
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Powering the next generation of digital
entertainment, NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) announced today that its
graphics and multimedia technologies will power more than 100 new
applications, all of which are on display at the Game Developers Conference,
being held this week in San Jose, CA. This level of strong support
demonstrates NVIDIA graphics as the platform of choice for game developers
looking to push the boundaries of the gaming experience.
"We've reached another milestone this year with a diverse line of products
at every price point in our desktop PCs, mobile, professional workstation and
Macintosh product lines," said Dan Vivoli, vice president of marketing at
NVIDIA. "The show of support from our partners at the Game Developers
Conference is really a testament to the quality and range of products we've
released this year."
Located at booth #616, NVIDIA will showcase the industry's most complete

professional workstation markets, including:

       Go.

The Way It's Meant to Be Played(TM)
In addition to showcasing its diverse product line, NVIDIA also unveiled a
new consumer logo program designed to alert gamers to those PC games that have
been optimized for NVIDIA graphics. Beginning this spring, the NVIDIA logo
and "The Way It's Meant to Be Played" tagline will be featured on retail
packaging and in advertisements for new PC games that have been designed from
the ground up to take advantage of the power and performance unleashed by
NVIDIA GPUs.
Games developed on NVIDIA graphics take advantage of a powerful feature
set that includes the advanced nfiniteFX(TM) II Engine and superior Accuview
Antialiasing(TM) techniques, resulting in a radically different gaming
experience for end users. Games played on NVIDIA GPUs feature unique visual
effects, richly detailed 3D environments and the most realistic, life-like
character animations ever seen -- all at screaming frame rates.
"It's always been our goal with The Elder Scrolls(R) III: Morrowind(TM) to
