Tickets.com and the Chicago White Sox Announce Exclusive Multi-Year Ticketing Agreement

      Agreement Solidifies Tickets.com's Presence in the Chicago Market

    COSTA MESA, Calif., March 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Tickets.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: TIXX) and the Chicago White Sox today announced
that the two organizations have entered into an exclusive multi-year ticketing
services agreement, beginning with the White Sox 2002 season.  Single game
tickets go on sale this Saturday, March 23, 2002 at 10:00AM CT.  Under the
terms of the agreement, Tickets.com will serve as the full provider of ticket
sales and distribution services through all channels, including the Internet
through http://www.mlb.com and http://www.whitesox.com ; visiting
http://www.tickets.com ; telephone and interactive voice response (IVR)
(1-866-SOX-GAME) (1-866-769-4263); official Tickets.com retail outlets in the
region including Chicagoland Sears and Sears Hardware locations
(web kiosk and staffed locations); the Comiskey Park Box Office and other
additional locations to be announced.
    The agreement with the Chicago White Sox follows last year's
precedent-setting announcement that Tickets.com had been selected as the
exclusive provider of online ticketing solutions for MLB Advanced Media, L.P.

delivering high volume ticketing services for other major league franchises,"

which handles ticketing services for the Boston Red Sox.  In addition, for the
