VIENNA, Va., March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- GRC International's (NYSE: GRH)
announced today it is one of several prime contractors awarded an indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide a wide variety of
computer network support services for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
GRCI's revenues from the new contract could be as high as $17.1 million over
the next seven years. The GRCI team includes Technology Advancement Group
Inc. (TAG), Dulles, Va.; Electronic Learning Facilitators Inc. (ELF),
Bethesda, Md.; and Stargate Solutions Inc. (SSI), Annandale, Va.
NAVSEA is a large, nation-wide organization within the United States Navy
responsible for the research, development acquisition, and life cycle support
of ships, submarines and their weapons and combat systems, support systems and
ordnance.
GRCI anticipates that it will provide a wide variety of information
support services including Internet, Intranet and Extranet development, staff
training, and system maintenance. GRCI's overall objective is to improve
service, make substantial gains in Internet, network and enterprise management
operations and implementation for NAVSEA. The ultimate benefit to the
customer will be increased efficiencies in network and Internet operations,
and improved business intelligence and staff resource allocation.
