Federal-Mogul Corporation of Southfield, Michigan,
(OTC Bulletin Board: FDMLQ), was honored with the "Preferred Partner Award,"
given by Jasper Engines & Transmissions, one of the nation's leading
remanufacturers of drive-train components, and one of Federal-Mogul's largest

Preferred Partner Award every year it has been given.
"We are a teamwork oriented organization," said Marion Holt, Eastern
Region manager for Federal-Mogul Aftermarket. "We believe in forging strong

service to help our customers achieve their goals. Partnering is how we do
business."
The JASPER Preferred Partner Awards were given recently during their 17th
annual Preferred Partners banquet. Recipients are nominated for the award by
Jasper associates and are judged on quality of the product, level of after-
the-sale-service, fill rate, response time to a problem and billing and credit
procedures among other criteria. Jasper associates who use the nominee's
products and services make the final decision and pick the honorees. Only
seven of Jasper's 3,200 vendors received the celebrated award.
"We want the purchase of our products to be a perfect experience for our
