FEV to Host SAE 2005 Technology Innovation Forum

DETROIT, March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- FEV, a globally recognized, independent
powertrain design and development company, will host the 2005 Technology
Innovation Forum sessions at SAE 2005 from April 11-14 at Detroit's Cobo
Center.
This year's FEV Technology Innovation Forum will feature eight sessions
over four days devoted to high-performance vehicles, and management and
marketplace themes.
The program will begin with a grand opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m. by FEV
Group CEO Dr. Stefan Pischinger and Jim Queen, General Motors vice president,
Global Engineering. The sessions run from 10 a.m. Monday, April 11, through
11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, on the Cobo Center SAE show floor. Topics include
the all-new Corvette Z06, milestones in 100 years of mobility engineering,
heroes of Formula 1, a look at the global industry from Sweden, India and
China, and technology licensing.
"We welcome the opportunity to host these valuable sessions. It's
important to provide a forum where we can share and explore innovations in the
industry," said Gary Rogers, president and chief executive officer of FEV
Engine Technology, Inc.
SAE created the Technology Forum for the 2004 Congress, adding thought-
provoking commentaries and panel discussions featuring top auto industry
executives -- many of whom drew standing-room-only crowds.
The forums provide a slightly less-technical view of many topics that are
covered in greater detail in the technology sessions scattered throughout the
conference center.
The FEV Technology Innovation Forum schedule includes:
    *  Corvette Z06 and 2006 C-6 - New Developments, Monday, April 11,
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
