Noveon, Inc. Appoints Christopher R. Clegg To Expanded Management Responsibility

CLEVELAND, OH USA
    CLEVELAND, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Christopher R. Clegg has assumed
responsibility for the global human resources organization at Noveon, Inc.
Clegg, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, will also retain
his current management responsibilities for the company's legal organization,
including corporate, general and patent law functions.

    Prior to being appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and
Secretary, Clegg was Vice President - Legal for the Performance Materials
Segment of BFGoodrich.  (Noveon was formed as an independent entity on
February 28, 2001 when an investor group comprised of AEA Investors Inc., and
affiliates of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners and DB Capital Partners, Inc.,
acquired the Performance Materials business from The B.F.Goodrich Company.)
    Prior to joining BFGoodrich, Clegg was a corporate lawyer in private
practice with the law firms of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey in Cleveland, Ohio,
and Perkins Coie in Seattle, Washington.
    Clegg holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University
of California at Berkeley, a master's degree in International Studies from the
Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a law
degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
    He lives in Hudson, Ohio.
