Conference -- Today, from the Game Developers Conference in San Jose,
California, Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) showcases several "must have" mobile
handsets and applications, designed to maximize the mobile entertainment
experience and increase development opportunities worldwide.
    Highlighting software solutions from Superscape and Terraplay Systems,
devices such as the new Motorola E680 and V600 will enable mobile games
enthusiasts to enjoy 3D features and real-time multiplayer games, while
encouraging games developers to innovate and sell solutions via Motorola's
signature content verification and distribution system, MOTOFOLIO(SM).

    Superscape's Swerve delivers 3D games on Motorola's new E680 mobile
phone
    Motorola's new E680 handset features Swerve technology from Superscape,
leaders in revolutionary entertainment for mobile phones, to deliver an
amazing gaming experience.  Utilizing JSR-184, the Java specification request
that supports 3D mobile graphics, the embedded Swerve client helps deliver
console quality, over-the-air 3D Java entertainment such as Disney's Tron 2.0
3D and 20th Century FOX's Independence Day game titles.
    Motorola is also making available from the Superscape library of 3D Swerve
games, titles from other entertainment giants including Activision, Acclaim
and Universal.

    Terraplay Systems enables real-time networked gaming on select Motorola
mobile devices
    Terraplay Systems is providing Motorola with network technology to enable
real-time multiplayer games on a range of mobile devices.  The solution,
called Terraplay MOVE, is used today by an increasing number of developers,
operators and handset makers world-wide.  Terraplay enabled games run on
Motorola V300, V500, V600 and E680 in a 2.5G network and on A925, A835 and
others in a 3G network.
    Designed to support all types of real-time games, from turn-based, sports,
action and racing games to massively multiplayer games with thousands of
players, Terraplay's technology will bring the online gaming experience to
Motorola mobile devices.
