iTunes Store
BURBANK, Calif., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Media announced today
the availability of premium programming from Starz Entertainment and fan
favorite anime series from Manga Entertainment on the iTunes(R) Store
(http://www.itunes.com).
Fans can now purchase and download original series from Starz
Entertainment, the second largest premium cable and satellite service in
the U.S., including the celebrity-fueled comedies "Head Case" and
"Hollywood Residential." In addition, fans of Manga Entertainment, a
leading producer/distributor of anime content, can purchase and download
episodes of "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex," "Noein," "Tokko" and
"Tactics."
"Making Starz and Manga programming available on iTunes allows us to
continue to fulfill our goal of providing consumers access to our content
where they want it, when they want it and how they want it," noted Marc
DeBevoise, Starz Media's senior vice president, digital media, business

This announcement is the latest in Starz Media's increasing embrace of
new and alternative distribution channels, and marks one of the first
digital deals to include currently airing episodes of Starz Original
programming.

Fans who visit Manga Entertainment and Starz on iTunes are able to
purchase episodes for viewing on a Mac or PC, iPod with video, iPhone or on
a widescreen TV with Apple TV.
