SANTA FE, N.M., March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- In a study published in Pain
Relief Network's peer-reviewed medical journal Illuminata, Dr. Frank Fisher
looks at the alarming incidence of sudden cardiac death resulting from
treatment with methadone. Go to:

"When Methadone and other medications are present in the blood of the
deceased, medical examiners frequently and mistakenly offer a diagnosis of
'combined drug intoxication' as the cause of death, failing to recognize
that thousands of patients in pain are actually dying from sudden cardiac
arrest when they take methadone as directed by their physicians," says Dr.
Fisher, Senior Analyst for PRN.
Pain Relief Network is calling on officials to set the record straight:
Were Anna Nicole's lungs filled with fluid as they should have been if
"drug overdose" were the correct diagnosis? Or might Anna Nicole's death
have resulted from the cardio-toxicity of methadone prescribed for her
pain?
