Jack Ganssle, Acclaimed author, designer, NASA team member and
entrepreneur, Named Master of Ceremonies
SAN FRANCISCO, March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- TechInsights today announced
the keynote speaker line-up and Master of Ceremonies for its 2008 Embedded
Systems Conference Silicon Valley. Each speaker will provide reflections on
the growth of the Embedded Systems Industry in the last 20 years in
celebration of the conference's 20th anniversary.
Jack Ganssle, frequent contributor to Embedded Systems Design and

-- Nick Tredennick, designer of the microprocessor that later became the
central processor for the original Apple Macintosh
-- John Wharton, designer of the world's first 8048-based keyboard
controller and automobile carburetor. He went on to design the eight-
bit microcontroller that became the 8051
-- Paul Saffo, a forecaster, professor and fellow of the Royal Swedish
Academy of Engineering Sciences at Stanford University.
