Neutral Posture Ergonomics, Inc. Appoints Three New Board Members

    BRYAN, Texas, March 28 /PRNewswire/ --
Neutral Posture Ergonomics, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTRL) a leading manufacturer of
ergonomic chairs and accessories, today announced the appointment of three new
members to its Board of Directors to fill positions vacated during the last
eleven months.  Appointed to the Board were Mr. Thomas G. Peterson, President
and Chief Operating Officer of the Company, Mr. John Samuel, Vice President -
Interactive Marketing for American Airlines and Ms. Susan Phillips Bari,
President of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council ("WBENC").
    Mr. Peterson joined the Company as President and Chief Operating Officer
in January 2000 and directs and manages the Company's day to day operational
activities as well as explores business development opportunities in line with
strategic goals.  He holds an MBA from Arizona State University in sales and
marketing management. Mr. Peterson also brings a wealth of industry experience
emphasizing channel management.
    Mr. Samuel leads American Airlines in its interactive marketing and was
instrumental in developing its flagship website http://www.aa.com.  He holds an MBA
from the University of Chicago and has been with American Airlines since 1987.
Prior to taking his current position, he was director of revenue management
development for the airline.  John Samuel is rapidly gaining recognition as an
e-commerce visionary and has been quoted in numerous publications including
the Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Business Week.
    Ms. Bari is currently the President of WBENC, an organization that strives
to enhance contracting opportunities for Women Business Enterprises with
corporations and the government.  Ms. Bari received a BA from the University
of Massachusetts in 1967 and a MBA from Virginia Polytechnic University in
1985.  From 1995 to 1997 she was President of the Nonprofit Management
Corporation that provided counsel to nonprofit organizations and small
businesses.  She also spent five years as Executive Director of the American
Woman's Economic Development Corporation and three years as Associate
Director, Office of Presidential Personnel for The White House.
    Rebecca Boenigk, Chief Executive Officer stated that, "We are excited with
