Raytheon to Pursue U.S. Air Force Network and Space O&M Contract

  Mission Support leader to provide enhanced operations and maintenance to
                    Air Force Satellite Control Network

    AURORA, Colo., March 28, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Raytheon
Company (NYSE: RTN) will lead an industry team in pursuit of Network and
Space Operations & Maintenance, or NSOM, a program to provide operations
and maintenance services to the Air Force Satellite Control Network.
    The NSOM program, which will be administered by the Air Force Space
Command's 50th Space Wing, Schriever Air Force Base, Colo., will be
executed over the next seven years.

    The NSOM program will provide operations, maintenance and logistics
support to a number of Department of Defense space systems that include but
are not limited to the defense satellite communications system earth
terminals; MILSTAR earth terminals; data link terminals; Air Force
satellite control network remote tracking stations; global positioning
system ground antennas, monitor stations and the master control station.
