Powell Goldstein Names Eleven New Partners and Counsel

    ATLANTA, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Powell Goldstein LLP has elected eleven
attorneys as partners and counsel.
    Named to the partnership were Simon H. Bloom, John C. Chiu, Charlotte A.
Combre, Christa L. Dommers, Michael Kessler, Tricia A. Kinney, Jennifer Devine
Odom, J. Christopher Rodgers and Adam W. Walsh.  Amy Blackburn Wages and Jason
K. Greene have been named Counsel.
    Amy Blackburn Wages concentrates her practice on corporate transactions
and aviation.  She is a graduate of the University of Richmond and Emory
University School of Law.
    Simon H. Bloom is a litigator, focusing his trial practice on land use,
real estate, insurance coverage, intellectual property and complex commercial
litigation.  He graduated from the University of Virginia and the University
of Virginia School of Law.
    John C. Chiu focuses his practice on corporate transactions and
intellectual property matters, emphasizing the creation and operation of U.S.
subsidiaries or affiliates of foreign investors.  He also represents foreign
producers and exporters before the U.S. agencies in connection with
international trade and customs matters.   He graduated from American
University School of Law.
    Charlotte A. Combre concentrates her practice in the area of health care
law, including regulatory and litigation matters.  She graduated from
Louisiana State University and Georgia State University College of Law.
    Christa L. Dommers, who focuses her practice in all areas of commercial
real estate leasing, graduated from Albertus Magnus College and Quinnipiac
College School of Law.
    Jason K. Greene primarily practices in business transactions and tax.   He
earned B.A. and Masters Degrees in Accounting from the University of Florida
and graduated from the University of Florida College of Law.
    Michael Kessler focuses his practice on energy, with particular focus in
electricity and federal and state regulatory matters.  He graduated from Brown
University and Vermont Law School.
    Tricia A. Kinney concentrates in labor and employment, representing
corporate management in matters related to employment.  She graduated from
Boston College and Vanderbilt University School of Law.
    Jennifer Devine Odom's principal areas of practice are securities and
corporate litigation.  She is a member of the Firm's Special Matters and
Investigations Team.  She graduated from the University of Florida and the
University of Florida College of Law.
    J. Christopher Rodgers focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and
acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate governance and general securities
law.  He graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Accounting
and The George Washington University Law School.
    Adam W. Walsh's practice encompasses a broad range of commercial real
estate transactions.  He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and the
College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law.
