Continental Receives Top Award from Toyota

      Recognized for Supplier Diversity for the Fifth Consecutive Year

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental, a supplier
of advanced automotive components, received an Excellence Award in the area
of Supplier Diversity from Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North
America, Inc. (TEMA) at the company's Annual Supplier Business Meeting and
Awards Ceremony held in recently Covington, Kentucky. This marks the fifth
consecutive year that Continental has received this award.

    The award acknowledges those suppliers who exceeded the company's
expectations in the following areas: Launch Performance, Technology,
Supplier Diversity, Value Improvement and Quality. Toyota's annual event
brings together approximately 500 North American suppliers to communicate
objectives for the current year, recognize top supplier performance for the
prior year and enhance relationships.
