Powell Goldstein Names Six New Partners; Two New Counsel

    ATLANTA, April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy LLP
has named six attorneys as partners and two attorneys as counsel.
    Named to the partnership were former associates Todd J. Friedbacher,
Richard E. Green, Marlo O. Leach, Kathlynn Butler Polvino, Stephen R. Smith,
and former counsel, James C. Wheeler.  Former associates Robert G. Coberly and
Nancy O. Kuhn were named as counsel.
    Todd J. Friedbacher concentrates in international business and antitrust
matters.  He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and Harvard Law
School.
    Richard E. Green is a graduate of the University of Utah and Vanderbilt
University School of Law.  Mr. Green's principal areas of concentration are
corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, general securities and corporate
law.
    Marlo O. Leach practices in the areas of commercial litigation, products
liability and personal injury.  She is an Emory University and Georgia State
University of Law graduate.
    Kathlynn Butler Polvino, who practices primarily in the areas of health
law and health care litigation, is a graduate of Boston University and Emory
University School of Law.
    Stephen R. Smith concentrates his practice in the areas of business,
commercial and technology litigation.  He is a graduate of Villanova
University and George Washington University Law School.
    James C. Wheeler, a graduate of Florida State University and Duke
University School of Law, concentrates in mergers and acquisitions, corporate
finance and business law.
    Robert G. Coberly, who focuses his practice in the areas of low-income
housing tax credit and historic rehabilitation tax credit transactions and
related affordable housing matters, graduated from Pennsylvania State
University and George Washington University Law School.
    Nancy O. Kuhn, a graduate of Cornell College, University of Minnesota, and
University of Colorado Law School, concentrates her practice on a large
variety of issues involving tax-exempt organizations.
