Health Fitness Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: HFIT) today announced the
completion of the previously announced restructuring of its board of directors
with the election of four leading Twin Cities business executives to its
board.
The four new directors are Dr K. James Ehlen, Chief of Clinical
Leadership-Humana Inc, John C. Penn, CEO of the Satellite Companies Linda Hall
Whitman, former President of Ceridian Performance Partners and Rodney A.
Young, Chairman, CEO and President of LecTec Corporation. The four will join
recently elected directors Jerry Noyce, Health Fitness CEO and President, Mark
W. Sheffert Chairman and CEO of Manchester Companies, Inc. and James A.
Bernards, President of Brightstone Capital, who serves as Chairman of the
Health Fitness Board.

Before assuming his current leadership with Humana, Ehlen was president of
Allina Health System, a $2.5 billion integrated health care organization
serving four states. Earlier, he was CEO of Medica, the largest health
maintenance organization in Minnesota.
Penn was an outside board member of the Satellite Companies for 19 years
before becoming CEO of the three-company group in 1998. He has also served as
CEO of Centers for Diagnostic Imaging and Arctic Enterprises.
From 1996 to 2000, Whitman was President of Ceridian Performance Partners,
a $105 million information services company. Earlier, she was Vice President
of the Consumer Business Group for Honeywell Inc. She currently serves on
several boards, including the Ninth District Federal Reserve Bank Board.
Before joining LecTec in mid-1996, Young was Vice President and General
Manger of the Specialized Distribution Division of Baxter International. He
also held a number of management positions with 3M Company's Medical Products
Division.
