LAS VEGAS, April 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Samaritan Pharmaceuticals
Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SPHC) announced today that it has obtained the
services of Octagon Research Solutions, a regulatory consulting service
specializing in electronic regulatory submissions, clinical information
management, technical writing and dossier preparation.
Samaritan hopes to expedite its HIV drug time-to-market by using FDA
preferred fully electronic submissions which are FDA reviewer friendly.
E-Submissions are increasingly becoming a key component of the regulatory
approval process and save both money and precious time to regulatory approval.
Eugene Boyle, CFO of Samaritan Pharmaceuticals, stated, "We take pride in
our HIV Phase II positive data and Octagon is helping us to reflect that
pride. In the future, we plan to use electronic tools to enhance the ever
important, quality and timeliness, of data gathered during clinical trials,
and the speed by which the data is gathered, for the entire regulatory life
cycle of a drug."
