PITTSBURGH, April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The Dominion Environmental Awareness
Team, a group of Dominion Resources, Inc. employees concerned about the
environment, and CB Richard Ellis will host what is traditionally the city's
largest Earth Day celebration from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., April 14, at CNG
Tower.
The event will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Earth Day and typically
attracts as many as 1,000 visitors. It is free and open to the public and
will feature hands-on exhibits and demonstrations by 11 environmental
organizations. The event is supported by volunteers from OASIS (Older Adult
Service and Information System).
Dominion, the nation's largest fully integrated natural gas and electric
power provider, will provide free tree seedlings and packets of flower seeds
in the CNG Tower lobby. CNG Tower is Dominion's Pittsburgh headquarters and
is managed by CB Richard Ellis.
"Coach Ozone" from the Southwest Pennsylvania Ozone Action Partnership
will be on hand to distribute coloring books and crayons to children. The
Pittsburgh Zoo will provide animals for the event, and the city's Town Crier
will shout out environmental news.
During the month of April, the public is also invited to view the Dominion
