ATLANTA, April 4, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Home Loan Bank of
Atlanta (FHLBank Atlanta) today announced the election of Donna Goodrich,
Senior Executive Vice President and Deposit Services Manager of BB&T
Corporation in Winston-Salem, as a new board member to fill a vacant
directorship in North Carolina.
The FHLBank Atlanta Board of Directors last week elected Goodrich, who
has worked with BB&T since 1985 and has served on its Asset Liability
Committee since 1995. Her previous positions at BB&T include Merger &
Acquisitions Analyst and Corporate Funding Manager, with progressive
promotions to executive management. She previously served on the FHLBank
Atlanta Board of Directors from June 2004 to 2005.
A career banker, Goodrich earned her bachelor's degree in commerce from
the University of Virginia in 1985 and holds the designation Chartered
Financial Analyst (CFA). She will serve the remainder of a term that ends
on December 31, 2008.1
