CHICAGO, April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Borg-Warner Security Corporation
(NYSE: BOR) today announced the appointment of Anne B. Ireland as director of
corporate development and planning. In this capacity, she will be responsible
for the company's overall business development plan and acquisition strategy.
Ireland will report to John A. Edwardson, president and chief executive
officer.
Prior to this appointment, Ireland served as director of corporate
business development for Allegiance Healthcare Corporation, McGraw Park, Ill.
From 1985 until 1996, she worked for Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Deerfield,
Ill., most recently as director of corporate business development.
Ireland earned a bachelor of arts degree in Economics from Northwestern
University in 1981 and an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the University
of Chicago in 1985.
