2003 Price Appreciation Led Telecom Stocks
WALTHAM, Mass., and WESTBOROUGH, Mass., April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
The Massachusetts Telecommunications Council (MTC), an industry association of
leading telecommunications companies, and Arch Wireless, Inc. (Nasdaq: AWIN,

announced that the MTC honored Arch Wireless with the Best Performance in
Public Markets Award at its annual ceremony last week. In 2003, Arch Wireless
registered the single greatest percentage increase in stock price by a New
England telecommunications company.
The MTC Annual Awards Ceremony, held at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge, was
attended by more than 400 industry leaders, and was emceed by John Gallant,
president and editorial director of Network World.

while simultaneously reducing debt and operating expenses," said Bob
