outsourcing solutions for the financial services sector, today reported that
it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Education Services
business to Kaplan Professional, a division of Kaplan, Inc., one of the
world's leading providers of lifelong education with operations around the
globe. The transaction is subject to usual and customary closing conditions,
and is expected to close in the next several weeks.
The adoption of a formal plan of disposition for BISYS Education Services
was previously announced on March 31, 2005.
