Bosch Addresses Broad Array of Pressing Automotive Issues During 2005 SAE World Congress

    WHAT:  Bosch associates will participate in four panels during the 2005
SAE World Congress.  Topics that will be addressed include optimizing the
supplier role in vehicle launches, near-term to next generation automotive
technology, and implications for conducting business in China.

    Monday, April 11
    Panel One
    Topic: The Perfect Launch (Original Equipment Suppliers Association panel)

    Topic: Hybrids vs. Diesel vs. Modified Gasoline, the Near Term - Is It
           Time for a Reality Check?
    Who: John Moulton, president, Powertrain Division, Robert Bosch

    Bosch Topic: Challenges and trends of diesel and modified gasoline

    Panelists will address where alternative powertrains are headed, and
expectations in the market.


    Wednesday, April 13
    Topic: Engineering Design and Product Development Capabilities in China:
           Implications for the Global Automotive Industry

    Bosch Topic: Special needs and requirements for working in China
