"The dashboards and integrated reporting within nCircle's Security
Intelligence Hub give Avnet's IT team the ability to see a combined view of
vulnerability, configuration risk and trending over time by network, site
location, and geographical region," said Phil Tyler, Operational Security
Consultant, Avnet. "The integrated views enable us to more easily determine
where we can most effectively target Avnet's risk reduction efforts."
As enterprises continue to look for ways to increase compliance while
reducing risk and costs, they increasingly require a composite view of
risk, compliance and the ability to accurately track accountability. New
dashboards available for the Security Intelligence Hub provide enterprise
wide views of risk, compliance, and accountability trends and the ability
to deconstruct all these factors by: business dimension, geography,
business unit, asset or business owner or regulatory or internal policy
compliance. Sample dashboards include:
-- Compliance Breakdown by Regulations, Asset Type and Policy -- provides
visibility and insight into policy and regulatory compliance for key
regulations such as PCI, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley and others.
-- Risk and Compliance Breakdown by Asset Value -- ensures that
organizations achieve compliance and improved security on their most
valuable assets first
-- Asset Overview & Assessment Coverage -- provides insight into security
governance to ensure scanning frequency and asset coverage is in
compliance with organizational goals, and tracks progress on reducing
rogue or unmanaged devices and unapproved applications.
The new dashboards are based on vulnerability, configuration, and
compliance data aggregated into the nCircle Security Intelligence Hub by
nCircle IP360, Configuration Compliance Manager, WebApp360 and Topology
Risk Analyzer.
"Today's enterprises are overwhelmed with security and compliance data,
and they need tools to make sense of it all," said Tim Keanini, CTO,
nCircle. "Our new risk and compliance dashboards provide instant
visibility, analysis and trending for the enterprise network as a whole and
with a centralized view of IT governance, risk and compliance."
nCircle will demonstrate the new dashboards at RSA 2008 April 7-10.
