Cardinal Health to Announce Third-Quarter Results on May 1

              Announces May and June Upcoming Investor Events

    DUBLIN, Ohio, April 8, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cardinal Health,
Inc. (NYSE: CAH), a global provider of products and services that improve
the safety and productivity of health care, plans to release third-quarter
results for fiscal 2008 on Thursday, May 1, prior to the opening of trading
on the New York Stock Exchange.

    The company has scheduled a webcast and conference call for May 1 at
8:30 a.m. EDT to discuss results of the quarter. To access the call and
