                 Network Query Language Technology Addresses
Content Integration Needs for Software Developers

SANTA ANA, Calif., April 9 /PRNewswire/ -- NQL Inc. (Nasdaq: NQLI) today
announced its participation in the software development-focused SD 2001 West
Conference and Expo with technology demonstrations and a formal workshop
planned for NQL's Network Query Language(TM) core technology, a scripting
language designed to simplify Internet and network programming.
"We are attending this show to reach out to the development community and
demonstrate to them that, as Hurwitz Group said, our Network Query Language
technology 'might turn out to be the Visual Basic(R) of the Web,'" said Denny
Michael, NQL vice president of marketing. "Programmers attend shows like
SD 2001 to discover the important new technologies that can make their jobs
easier, and enhance the products and applications they create. We'll be there
to make sure they learn about NQL(R) technology and our unique content
integration capabilities."
NQL will demonstrate its patent-pending technology, in the Web Services
World Pavilion (booth #5) at the San Jose (Calif.) Convention Center
April 10-12. Exhibitors, speakers and attendees in the Web Services Pavilion
have a common interest in developing web service offerings. Between six and
eight thousand software developers are expected to attend the show.
David Pallmann, NQL chief technology officer and author of "Programming
Bots, Spiders and Intelligent Agents in Microsoft Visual C++" (Microsoft
Press, 1999), will lead a technical course Wednesday, April 11, 10:15 -
11:45 a.m. The course will instruct software developers in building
applications with communication, data conversion, automation and intelligent
behavior capabilities using NQL technology. NQL will distribute 100 free
copies of its Network Query Language technology to developers attending the
instructional course.
"We believe NQL technology provides developers with a dynamic toolkit for
application development and SD 2001 will provide a good setting for developers
to learn about it," Pallmann said. "Unlike other programming languages, our
Network Query Language technology was created with the new class of connected
applications in mind -- intelligent agents, bots, spiders, middleware, and web
applications. Network Query Language offers the essential ingredients to
rapidly develop those applications."
NQL licenses Network Query Language technology for both Windows(R) and
Java(TM) platforms for rapid application development involving the use of
intelligent agents and other artificial intelligence techniques for automatic
aggregation and delivery of data housed on the Internet, databases, legacy
systems, applications, documents or messages.
