PCC3030 Reigns as Highest Speed Exponentiator in the Market
SAN FRANCISCO, RSA CONFERENCE, April 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Securealink, the

PCC3030 Cryptographic Accelerator performing more than
10,000 encryptions/sec. -- an order of magnitude faster than any cryptographic
acceleration chip on the market. Specifically targeting the burgeoning
acceleration demands of SSL-based e-commerce transaction applications, the
PCC3030 performs the greatest number of 1024-bit private key modular
exponentiations per second by a single chip, while offering the lowest power
consumption per calculation available in the industry today. The high-speed
accelerator provides an ideal exponentiation solution for applications where
speed of transaction is the most important criteria, such as server-farms
supporting e-commerce transactions, and nationwide ISP sites with a
substantial subscriber base.

Samples of the PCC3030 are expected in 4th quarter 2001. The chip will
sell at less than $500 based on volumes of 10,000 units.
