Raytheon Named Top Training Provider by HRO Today

DALLAS, April 10, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- HRO Today named Raytheon
Professional Services LLC (RPS), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE:
RTN), to the magazine's "Baker's Dozen" list of top training outsourcing
providers. The magazine has named RPS to the list for three consecutive
years.

HRO Today chose RPS from an initial field of more than two dozen
providers that manage clients' training processes in long-term outsourcing
engagements. The magazine selected its final list of top providers based on
input about breadth and quality of training services from the providers
themselves, their competitors and customers.

"This recognition highlights Raytheon's 15 years of experience in
redesigning and managing global training programs for commercial clients
like General Motors, Pfizer, Midas, Kia and DTE Energy," said Dave Letts,
RPS general manager. "More recently, we've applied these innovative
training practices within military and government training environments,
improving operational readiness for customers like NASA's Johnson Space
Center and the U.K. Ministry of Defence through its Defence Training Review
initiative."

RPS also earned the number one position on the "Top 10 Training
Services Vendors" list compiled by the Brown-Wilson Group in "The Black
Book of Outsourcing." The ranking results from the group's annual survey of
leaders in commercial and government organizations that use outsourcing
services. More than 21,000 validated survey responses evaluated 4,500
outsourcing providers.

RPS clients have received recognition for training excellence from the
American Society for Training and Development, the German Association of
Sales Promoters and Trainers, and "Workforce Management" and "eLearning."
In speaking about RPS' award-winning training services for General Motors'
service technicians in North America, Josh Bersin, principal and founder of
Bersin & Associates, said: "This program should be studied by every
learning executive. The program is incredibly ambitious and touches one of
the most business-critical elements in the GM business model. Its success
is a testimony to the value of carefully honed best practices for program
analysis, design, implementation and management."

A business unit of Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC, RPS is a
global leader in training services and outsourcing. With 800 learning
professionals serving clients in 70 countries and 25 languages, RPS
improves clients' business performance by redesigning how they train their
employees, customers and partners; implementing their new training design;
and managing their training in long-term outsourcing engagements.
