DETROIT, April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Ventech is showcasing its innovative
Liquid Heat Generator (LHG) on the Cadillac STS SAE 100 Technology Integration
Vehicle at the 2005 Society of Automotive Engineers World Congress from April
11-14 at the Cobo Center in Detroit.
General Motors has selected Ventech as a supplier partner to integrate
future automotive technologies into one concept vehicle. The LHG is one of 50
high-tech systems displayed in the Cadillac show car, which was created to
demonstrate the synergy of several new applications.

application. This engineering exercise gives us the opportunity to showcase
the LHG Series 400. It equips future vehicles with comfort in one heating

As a comfort feature, the LHG is an advanced technology that provides
close-to-instant heat for the vehicle cabin. With this rapid supplemental
heater, drivers will have up to 90-degree air within 90 seconds from initial
engine start at sub-zero conditions. By comparison, it can take ten times as
long for standard HVAC units running off a gasoline engine to reach the same
temperature.
Sanger, an English native from Worcester, United Kingdom, patented his LHG
invention in 1997. Since then, he has been testing and demonstrating the
product with Detroit-based auto makers on diesel and gasoline powered
vehicles. His LHG Series 400 is a ready-made component that easily mounts to
the engine as a belt-driven accessory.
