ASTORIA, Ore., April 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bank of Astoria,
headquartered in Astoria, Oregon, will open a new branch facility in
Tillamook, Oregon early in 2008. The 4,000 square foot, two story building
will be located at the corner of Third Street and Stillwell Avenue in the
Town Center District of downtown Tillamook across the street from the newly
constructed Tillamook County Library.

The Tillamook Branch will be full service, providing traditional
financial services for consumers and business owners including deposit
accounts, all types of loans, on-line banking, a cash machine, drive up
banking and investment services. Construction of the new facility, which
will initially employee eight people, will begin this summer, with the
branch scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2008.
