RENO, Nev., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Reno Air, Inc.
(Nasdaq: RENO; PCX: RNO) today announced the appointment of Steven A. Rossum
as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary replacing
Bob Rowen, who is leaving the company.
Rossum will be responsible for all legal activities of the company as well
as government and regulatory affairs.
"Steve brings with him a wide range of experience from both private
practice and the airline industry," said Reno Air CEO Joe O'Gorman. "This new
appointment is part of our continued internal restructuring to bring in the
expertise necessary to reduce costs, improve our product and restore the
airline to profitability."
Most recently, Rossum was assistant general counsel for US Airways in
Washington D.C. and prior to that for WorldCorp, the parent of World Airways.
He has more than 11 years of legal experience in the airline industry and has
a law degree from Emory University Law School in Atlanta, Georgia, and dual
degrees from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
