OKLAHOMA CITY, April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 16, 2004, the class
action lawsuit was filed in the Southern District of New York against China
Life Insurance Company Limited (NYSE: LFC). The complaint alleges violations
of federal securities laws, including allegations of dramatically overstating
revenues and concealing China Life Insurance Company Limited's true prospects.
The lawsuit further alleges that defendants violated Sections 10(b) and 20(a)
of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5, thereby issuing a
series of material misrepresentations to the market. The class period is from
December 22, 2003 through February 3, 2004.
Plaintiff seeks to recover damages on behalf of the Class. If you are a
member of the Class as described above, you may move the Court no later than
sixty (60) days from March 16, 2004, to serve as a lead plaintiff for the
