MILLWOOD, Va., April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Close to fifty emergency
physicians and nurses recruited by Project HOPE were quickly dispatched to
Indonesia to assist victims of the region's most recent earthquake. The

For more than three months, Project HOPE has been coordinating a volunteer
humanitarian effort in the region through its partnership with the U.S. Navy.

HOPE volunteers who provided medical assistance to more than 20,000
Indonesians in a two-month mission off the coast of Banda Aceh.
"Project HOPE has developed a strong connection to the region and its
people, and is honored to again respond to the Navy's request for help," said
John P. Howe III, M.D., President and CEO of Project HOPE. "This region has
