Siemens Corporation Appoints Klaus Stegemann Chief Financial Officer

    NEW YORK, April 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Siemens Corporation has named
Klaus P. Stegemann its chief financial officer. Stegemann previously served as
the CFO of the Angiography, Fluoroscopy and Radiographic Systems Business of
Siemens AG Medical Solutions in Germany.  Stegemann replaces Gerald Wright,
who was named CFO of Siemens Canada earlier this year.  He is based at Siemens
Corporation's New York City headquarters.

    Prior to his last assignment, Stegemann worked on projects in both the
U.S. and Germany with Transportation Systems, Automation & Drives, Power
Generation, Industrial Solutions & Services, Medical and the Siemens AG
Corporate headquarters.  Earlier in his career, Stegemann served in a number
of positions with increasing responsibility in accounting, reporting and
planning at several major Siemens businesses in Germany.
