This Kruse Control demonstration, by d3 engineering and
based on TI's C2000(TM) DSPs, features a closed loop, high-
performance motion control approach that allows a stepper
motor to behave and perform with the characteristics of a

test patterns while the C55x(TM) DSP simultaneously
performs MPEG-4 video/decode. The demonstration also will
show the interprocessor communication mechanism that
eliminates the need for developers to program the RISC and
DSP independently and the dual-debugging environment on a
                   high-level operating system.

-- C55x Personal Media Development Kit for Portable, Handheld
                   Applications
The PMDK is a complete development environment that
consists of an LCD and camera daughter card on top of the
TMS320C5509 Evaluation Module (EVM). We invite you to
learn more about this development kit through a live
demonstration, which shows the TMS320C5509 DSP performing
                   MPEG-4 video encode/decode.

-- Audio and Video in Real-Time on TI's TMS320C64x(TM) DSPs
ATEME will be showing several demos at TI's booth to
demonstrate the features for MPEG4 streaming applications,
such as ASP profiling in real-time, encoding and decoding
with post-processing tools as well as encoding and decoding
TCP/IP streaming with on screen display (overlay).

-- Simultaneous encode and decode of video
This demo will showcase the power of TI's C64x(TM) DSP
processor to perform full resolution simultaneous encode
and decode on a single processor. This enables a new breed
of applications with a single chip that encompasses
security applications such as DVRs, surveillance cameras,
                   PVRs and video streaming/conferencing.

                -- Multimedia Performance and Quality
Ingenient's MP4900-BRD-C6415 board will demonstrate Quality
D1 Resolution on a single processor such as MPEG-4 ASP with
                   MPEG-4 AAC encode and decode, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 with MPEG-4
AAC Decode and MPEG-2 with mp3 Decode. Also on display
will be Ingenient's MP4900-BRD-DM270 with MPEG-4 SP with
mp3, WMV with WMA and JPEG, G.726.

                -- JPEG2000 Encoder on TI's C6000(TM) DSP Platform
The highly optimized Aware Motion JPEG2000 encoder
demonstrates the compresses each frame of a video stream,
which is transferred over the PCI bus and decoded using the
Aware JPEG2000 Software Decoder Library on the host PC.
Viewers are then able to compare the decompressed video
sequence displayed side by side with the original video.

                -- Enhanced Professional Audio Capabilities
                   Showcasing TI's TMS320C6713 floating-point DSP and CCStudio
v2.2 support of professional audio applications, this
demonstration has a digital amplifier range up to 100W of
power, at levels of efficiency unseen in analog
amplification. The algorithms enhance the application's
delay, graphic equalizer and chorus abilities, while
developers focus on the sound of their algorithm, instead
                   of each line of code.
