Bosch Participates, Supports 2007 SAE World Congress

    FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Bosch continues its
commitment to automotive innovation through panel participation, technical
papers and a sponsorship at the 2007 Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)
World Congress, April 16-19, 2007, in Detroit.
    Bosch associates will present 10 technical papers throughout the week
of SAE World Congress on topics ranging from gasoline direct injection and
electronic control units to exhaust gas sensors and vehicle dynamic
management systems.
    On Monday, April 16, Martin Thomas, director, gasoline systems and
electronic control units, Robert Bosch GmbH, will participate in a panel,
in the AVL Theater, of electronics system suppliers to discuss the
performance requirements an open architecture needs to function effectively
in the automotive environment.
    Scott Dahl, director of marketing and product planning, Robert Bosch
LLC, will participate in a supplier and OEM panel discussion during the
Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) sponsored "Innovative
Product Development: Value for the Customer, Profit for the Enterprise"
conference at COBO Center on Monday, April 16. Dahl and other panel
participants will share case studies providing insight on effective product
development strategy, organization and industry best practices.
    For the third year in a row, Bosch will serve as the SAE World Congress
Banquet Afterglow sponsor on Thursday, April 19, at Seldom Blues in
Detroit.
